Future Date #3: Chef's Table by Chef Bruce Lim

Dodong and I share the same fiery passion for food
Dodong and I love, love, love, love to eat among all the other activities we share. He's actually more of a volume eater, while I am a foodie. Volume is not much of an issue. Well, I appreciate it but I'd rather have quality food on my plate first and foremost. Last summer, a few good friends and I tried out this special restaurant which I think Dodong may want to try out. It's an excuse for me to get to eat there again too! Hehehe.
Chef's Table by Chef Bruce Lim is one of the latest freestyle dining, by reservation only restaurants in the country today. My friends and I had a great gastronomic experience and the same time got so full that we couldn't stand no more! It is a perfect restaurant compromise my need for quality and Dodong's need for volume. Hehehe.
Why I want to take him to Chef's Table? Here's why…
Chef's Table is a new exciting experience we can share.

Philippines: Reversed Sotanghon...A new way of looking at Sotanghon
I've been there with friends, but the experience would be totally different with him. We really miss sharing meals together, exchanging stories over yummy food and cracking jokes in between bites. Argh. I suddenly have the loneliness pangs all over again.
Chef Bruce can actually customize the menu to your own liking.

Chef's Table Menu: You can actually make and break this one
Chef's Table actually has a standard menu for those who are not as adventurous. But the beauty of freestyle dining is that he can actually create an entirely new menu for you! I requested to have Southeast Asian theme for the meal. And he did deliver an amazing menu just couldn't forget!

Vietnam: Spring Roll with Seared Ahi Tuna

Malaysian: Real Crab Cakes with Laksa Sauce
Chef Bruce's 4-course meal is already equivalent to filling yourself in a hotel buffet spread.
There was just so much food! I thought that I would not get full but oh my gash! I think I had to open my buttons to let my tummy out. For Php 1,500 nett, we had soup, appetizer (even 2 of them!), another course, main course and dessert!

Singapore: Fresh Mussels & Clams in Butter and White Wine Sauce

Singapore: Hainanese Chicken with Ba Kuh Teh Sauce

Hmmm is Bananas Foster even Southeast Asian? Hehehe. It was good though
I actually am so excited to take Dodong to a romantic dinner here. We ain't romantic eaters but I want to experience a romantic meal myself. Hehehe.
Would you take your better half to Chef's Table too?

Hello,
I just want to request if it’s possible that you could email me the ingredients and procedure on how to cook “Reversed Sotanghon Soup”.
Thank you so much.
