Loving the new look for Loving the Distance?

Yesterday, I have been working very hard to revamp Loving the Distance. And Yey! I think I've been fairly successful with this newer look for the blog 
Or maybe that's just me? How are you finding the new look so far?

It looks good… but it does take awhile to load.
And the little logo you have on the banner (at least it looks like there is one there) never shows up
