I do have to apologize to non-Filipino readers but this song is just perfect for those who are spending their Christmases away from each other like Dodong and myself. (NOTE: I chose to post the Lea Salonga version since she is an International star so that non-Pinoys can somehow relate – Can you???) I really do not know what is it about this holiday season that makes me feel extra lonely. I know I should be used to this but it does get lonely. Super.
Maybe because of the weather. It's cold and it is perfect hugging, cuddling temperature. Maybe because of all the get togethers: families, friends, old friends, new friends…HAAAY.

I think I've recovered a bit from the bouts of loneliness and longing last weekend. I stopped crying, which is a good thing right? During that day, Dodong also managed to share with me a few more songs. (He really is more of the music person versus myself). And how fortunate of me to stumble upon the music video of the song on YouTube, featuring Clark Kent and Lana Lang of Smallville, which is one of THE most favorite TV shows of Dodong.

This song is a part of Dodong's I'm Missing You collection. A line from this song is actually his YM status, which sparked a lot of interest amongst family, co-workers and friends. Simply because it is not in his character to emote or be sentimental about missing someone (and this someone is ME!).
Dodong is not at all the sentimental / cheezy type. I'm actually the one who is the more romantic one (Obviously!). But I guess the homesickness really can transform you huh?
