Fireworks. Dancing Lights. Long Distance Love.
It's been quite a busy week, being the last of 2010. Eating. Eating. Eating. More eating. And did I mention eating? And today is already 2011! 2010 seems to have flown by so fast. 2010 was a challenging year for us long distance lovebirds, but there's a new exciting year ahead of us…

I wish not only peace but a moment of rest for OFWs around the world
This holiday season has been the pits. My lola passed away, then work has been crazy busy (catching up for my bereavement leaves plus more stuff in preparation for next year. It's a ghost town here and everyone is on leave!!!!). Now, Dodong and I have been competing on who has the more miserable holiday.

These past two weeks at work have been hell for me. This meant late nights at the office (dismissal between 730 to 8PM for days which start at 8AM or even earlier). And on top of that, my regular stress release at the gym. Plus, chatting / catching up with Dodong when I get home until around 12MN or sometimes 1AM. Then wake up to another work day, bright and early at 6AM.
I noticed that the dark circles under my eyes have become darker and bigger. (Yes, I still have not given in to the lure of eye creams) So I ask myself: is staying up late at night, ending up tired, really worth the trouble?!?

Armed with a good book in tow…
So Dodong is coming home TODAY! Woohooo! And so me needs to look decent when he gets home. Of course! This is an advantage for us LDR gals as we can actually have some time to prepare to prettify!
No liposuction procedures ahead. Hehehe! I am a bit on the low maintenance side so these are just simple things that make me feel pretty even just a wee bit.
So what was on my last minute prettify errand list yesterday?

Dodong told me about this video while we were on our regular weekend chat. He said that he was holding back his tears watching the video (Sorry Dodong I had to let out this embarrassing factoid). And so it made me VERY CURIOUS. I definitely did not want to cry but I obviously did cry. Boo.
It brought back so many memories of surprise homecomings both from my mom and my beloved Dodong…
